Your comment was posted, but it wasn’t long enough to count as a review. Reviews need about four complete sentences (at least 250 characters). Try writing another review that explains your thoughts in more detail — the author will appreciate it, and you’ll earn points for it.
Comments in red. I will fix the formatting to the best of my abilities.
Okay you know what? I won't go farther than that because I think you got the hint. Formatting must be good, or else people can't concentrate on the story.
So far, all I get from your characters are these impressions:
They're overdramatic.
They're kind of calm even though the situation is bad.
Neither of those are good. Honestly I wouldn't care less if they went and jumped off a cliff. The question is, would you? If you don't then we have a big problem, because as much as you're supposed to torture your characters you're supposed to love them. If you do then your problem is slightly smaller. All you need to do is make us understand why you love these characters.
The plot I couldn't focus on.
This review is made of 100% opinion.
Sincerely,
Kara
Oh boy. Oh boy. I'm not gonna lie... This is problematic. This needs help. This needs the services of... The Rambo Reviewer!
(Why yes, that is him fighting a space invader.)
Because the Rambo Reviewer is so BA, he reviews in RED, the color of the blood of his victims.
Okay your grammar and formatting was horrendous. Possibly the worst I've ever seen. 0/10
The story and characters, on the other hand, had potential. I liked the idea, but it was so bogged in lousy grammar I couldn't focus. Something I liked is that it's totally understandable for Brenda to go all rebel when her home is so effed up. Realistic.
Anyway, trying reading some books to see how they're formatted to get an idea of better grammar. Try working on that when you continue this. (Because I'd like you to continue, this is an interesting idea.)
Ciao
